Before you begin, please read the following three articles. The first is a review of When You Reach Me, which touches on Miranda's relatable voice for young readers. The second is an essay by C.S Lewis titled "On Three Ways of Writing for Children." The third reading consists of quotes from young adult authors on how they write for teenagers.
